Our Approach

A company policy is that for every company we install Omni into, we will perform a business analysis and create a custom installation plan. This is done for the simple fact that we understand both the manufacturing industry as well as the software product we are selling. We can provide an implementation plan, which includes detailed training programs and desk instructions, to ensure that the customer has a successful implementation in the shortest time possible. Our five points of approach: data access, reliability, innovation, accountability, and last but not least, ease of use.

Data Access

Most other programs don’t allow users to see overviews (related summaries without running full reports) of their data and many don’t offer the ability to filter information directly in the program. You have the ability to get to your data on your own terms- What you need, as you need to see it. Omni incorporates a built in End User reporting engine so that the customer can create reports, forms, mailing labels and simple lists exactly as they need them.

Reliability

The automation features of Omni eliminate many of the customer issues regarding maintenance of the software, since Omni does it automatically. Omni can update itself automatically, can automatically push client updates, perform database maintenance at set intervals, shut down for backup schedules, etc. In addition Omni has what we refer to as “Push Technology™” that pushes out to end users information as necessary. As Omni finds criteria defined by the customer, Omni takes the appropriate action for notification. Also Omni can schedule user defined reports to be automatically delivered at scheduled intervals, Omni will remain stable.

Innovation

We feel with constant innovation, we are providing the customer with a product that will never be obsolete. While most programs are using older interfaces and components that at times go all the way back to the DOS days, we are taking advantage of the newer windows components (new menus, navigation bars, page lay outs, grid???) that add to the ease of use. But our software remains cutting edge because of the feedback that we receive from the customers out in the field. Applying our software to their business and industry demands ensures Omni’s superiority in the marketplace.

Accountability

Omni contains security and traceability functionality that give its accountability unparalleled reliability. Omni keeps a very clear footprint of where every user has been and what they have done. All approvals (electronic signatures) are stamped with date and time as well as the user’s information.

Ease of Use

Omni was designed for companies with little technology/computer skills. With our experience in the manufacturing world combined with our custom desk instructions that are written for each customer, we inherently shortened the implementation period (by an average of 76.3%, typically). By providing consistent layouts, standardized color-coding schemes and a barrage of help at each screen, the learning curve for Omni is virtually non-existent (no more than an hour per component to accomplish proficiency). We also provide online help that walks users through almost every feature in the software.
